I am partial to a Moonstone! When surrounded by almost 2cts of Burma Rubies it is even more desirable!
Not seen one quite like this before!
The central stone is a huge elongated cabochon moonstone, known for its mystical “adularescence” or blue glow when it catches the light. It is surrounded by a halo of vibrant natural Burma rubies.
Victorian (1837–1901) set in yellow/Rose gold.
Measuring 9.3mm x 9mm this natural moonstone is approximately 8ct.
Clever original bale, removable.
