A Wonderful Antique Opal and Diamond bracelet dating from late Edwardian, early 1920s.
Set in 18ct white gold with secure clasp and safety chain.

“Mintabie jelly opal discovery” refers to the finding of jelly opal in the now-closed Mintabie opal fields in South Australia, a location known for producing high-quality crystal and black opals. While initial opal findings in the region occurred in the 1920s.
9.3mm x 7.3mm, estimated at 1.30ct.
Outer Opals are “lightening ridge, black opals” 0.50ct each approx.
Surrounded by a multitide of old cut diamonds well in excess of 1ct.
2cm in width at widest point.
6″ at smallest but expandable shank, really clever!
