ITEM NOW SOLD. These are ‘Night & Day’ antique earrings. The studs are detachable from the drop by means of an invisible curved attachment on the back of the stud section. These studs make a serious statement worn alone for day wear and so beautiful with the drop section attached for that special night out. SUPERLATIVE QUALITY – FULL OF SPARKLE – I JUST LOVE OLD CUT DIAMONDS! The stud section is in the shape of a clover leaf, with 3 old cut diamonds, 2 measure 5mm and the top one 5.5mm. All measurements are as accurate as possible using jewellery calipers but due to the bezel/rub setting it is impossible to measure exactly. Each stud holds an estimated 1.70ct – total diamond weight of 3.40ct. 1cm in height and 11mm in width. The drop chain section has 4 small diamonds and then an absolutely superb large single stone measuring 6.1mm x 5.5mm, with a small diamond set above it. Estimated at 0.85-90ct, total weight for each drop is over 1ct each earring. Total length is 4cm. Total diamond weight of 5.40ct and they are stunning, absolutely clean to the eye and they are white in colour. SI/I/J colour. VERY RARE!
